The start of the trek was a bit strenuous but from the second day the trail has plenty to offer. The mighty mountains standing tall at the Kyanjin Gumba site is rather a breathtaking view. Mann, our guide , made sure that we safely reach our destination each day . Throughout the trek he was helpful and looked after our needs in the best possible way.
Thanks to the team for this beautiful experience and hope to plan our next trek in Nepal with Unique Himalayan Trek and Expedition.

  Langtang valley trek - a nice journey  - We contacted Meghendra ji on WhatsApp from India for Langtang valley trek. He was always on the other end promptly replying our questions. He offered us a competitive price for... read more the trek and received at Kathmandu hotel with a smiling face. We were accompanied by Mr. Mannkumar , as our guide. Mann is a very very helpful young person who can easily win anyone's heart . We completed the trek with full enjoyment and reached Kathmandu - a complete 9 days package. At the end the atmosphere was like a family, meghendra ji handed over to us the certificate of achievement for the trek. This trek is less crowded than EBC or ABC and best for beginners and moderately experienced trekkers, though the route is a bit strenuous.

Then my trekking days started and undoubtedly manaslu trekking is one of hardest treks but the way they took care of me i didn't feel like it was that hard. Special thanks to my guide who was so friendly that I forgot he was my guide rather I found him as my friend. I remember those time when my legs were about to die either he made a joke that gave me mental power or he took my backpack. I am already missing that guy. During the trek, my guide Bhola Tiwari was exceptional. He was professional, caring, and always attentive to my needs. He made sure I was comfortable, safe, and enjoying every moment. His encouragement during the tougher days and his knowledge about the mountains and local culture really made a difference.

The journey itself was absolutely breathtaking walking through beautiful villages, forests, and rivers, and finally reaching Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by stunning peaks was unforgettable.

Everything was very well organized, and I truly appreciated the personal care and support throughout the trek. It felt less like a tour and more like traveling with a trusted team.

  Langtang trekk - I’ve just completed the Langtang Valley Trek in Nepal and overall it was a great experience. The trek is beautiful.
The scenery changes a lot – from forests and rivers... read more in the lower parts to wide valleys, glaciers, and impressive mountain views near Kyanjin Gompa. The area around Langtang village has a strong atmosphere and history, which adds depth to the whole trek.
The difficulty is moderate. If you have decent fitness, you can manage it without technical skills. The altitude is noticeable above 3,500 m, so slow pace, hydration, and rest are important. Teahouses along the route are simple but fine – warm food, basic rooms, limited comfort. Don’t expect luxury, this is real mountain trekking.
The local people are kind and welcoming. A good guide and porter make the trip much easier, safer, and more enjoyable. Logistics in Nepal can be chaotic – roads are rough and plans change – so flexibility is key.

Overall, Langtang is a great choice if you want strong Himalayan scenery without big crowds and don’t mind simple conditions.

  Annapurna and Mardi Himal Treks  - I chose Unique Himalaya Treks and Expedition as a company, the owner/manager, Megendra Giri, expertly organised my 3 treks, namely, Poonhill/Ghorepani trek, Annapurna Base Camp and lastly Mardi Himal trek.... read more It took 13 consequetive days.
We had a planned itinerary which was flexible as weather changed etc and I'm 60 years of age, solo traveller. My guide was Megendra's younger brother, Mankumar Giri, who also carried some of my equipment, really looked after me on the treks and in lodges and guesthouses, ensuring my room was good, had WiFi, ordered meals from menu and ensured I was comfortable and always gave me a cut up apple after meal. He was alot of fun, spoke good English and made these treks exciting and memorable, thankyou, appreciated.
Megendra also organised transport, flight and tourist bus, hotels etc, a trip from Pokhara to Lumbini and Chitwan National Park which was very different from the himalayan mountains. Trips around Kathmandu were also organised.
I found this company was very professional, answering my questions promptly and extremely responsive, WhatsApp etc.
When choosing a trekking company, you need to be able to trust them, as you are putting your own personal safety on these treks in their hands, which this company did very well.
